  1. Good work, Cleveland. I remember as a kid the city and station recognized and even gave time to individual denominations–the Rosary was on W.E.R.E. Fifty-plus years later, I check in from afar and hear you interviewing Sr. Simone Campbell, Executive Director of Network–a Catholic arm for justice and peace issues from the Gospel’s imperative. The nuns have always been at the forefront of justice issues in the Church and society. The Catholic Church has been built on the backs of Religious Women, and to this day these ailing and aging women are still there. Bless them. Bless W.E.R.E and bless AWR for still being a broadcast facility and program recognizing and giving voice to the community and its values. Keep up the good work. There aren’t many out there these days.
