He also discusses Maryland being named one of the wealthiest states  with the lowest poverty rate and talks about having efficient, engaged government workers.

Our second featured guest was Gordon Saunders with Genworth Long Term Care. Saunders discusses the cost of long term care for the elderly to be increasing by two times the rate of inflation! He says the reason for the increase in supply and demand of workers and how much longer people are living. He finishes his time on the show by comparing the cost of care in home to the cost of care in a nursing home.
