Shale Crescent USA official touts ways to boost manufacturing jobs

The United States is at a crucial point in our history where we have the opportunity to bring over one million jobs back to our shores.

Shale Crescent USA Director of Marketing Greg Kozera said that the United States is on the edge of ending our Chinese dependence and bringing over one million manufacturing jobs back to the United States.

Bringing manufacturing jobs back

The shift away from American energy production left the United States reliant on foreign countries to produce energy and set the prices. With this reliance came a loss of a massive amount of jobs.

Kozera said the United States has the ability to compete with China when it comes to manufacturing and that we are currently doing it.

Advanced manufacturing has allowed the United States to create high quality, high wage jobs for Americans. This is how the United States evens the playing field with China. While they offer low labor costs, which attracted many corporations in the past, advanced manufacturing has allowed companies to lower costs in other ways.

By manufacturing products here, companies can kill two birds with one stone. First, they can lower costs by eliminating overseas shipping costs. Next, they lower their carbon footprint by eliminating foreign shipping and using the energy that is created here in the United States.

Not only does a revival of the manufacturing industry bring manufacturing jobs, it creates union construction jobs for the tradesmen and tradeswomen tasked with building new facilities. Kozera said this helps build the economy as a whole. When more Americans are working, they spend more money, creating an even larger amount of jobs.
