Washington Bureau Chief of People’s World and Press Associates Inc. (PAI) editor Mark Gruenberg discussed the low U.S. unemployment rate. He explained how the unemployment rate differs from the jobless rate, which he said is high. Gruenberg spoke about the political climate in what he called “The Disunited States of America,” and said a change is needed.
Sue McConnell, with the Better Business Bureau, appeared on the show to discuss common scams that pop up during the holiday season when people increase their online shopping. To avoid being scammed on Black Friday, McConnell advised people research reputable online companies. With winter fast approaching, she urged people to research legitimate snow removal service companies. McConnell said to make sure you have a written contract drawn up so you can be reassured you will not be duped out of money.
