Today’s Show 9-11-18

On the show today, we had Frank Matthews, Administrative Director from Communication Workers of America (CWA) District 4, and Dave Wondolowski, Executive Secretary at the Cleveland Building & Construction Trades Council (CBCTC). Our first guest, Frank Matthews, discusses the ongoing issue with AT&T withdrawing of service matrix and how they are offshoring jobs, the Federal Lifeline Program, the disappearing jobs during the Trump administration, and how the Trump Tax Bill is encouraging business to offshore their jobs. Our second guest, Dave Wondolowski talks about the importance of registering to vote, Richard Cordray, Ohio voting, hard times filling trades positions, Apprenticeship awareness, opportunities in the Building & Construction Trades, and bringing awareness about the trades back to high schools as a viable post-graduation opportunity for success. Along with all of this, we also talk about the Op-Ed written about President Trump, new NAFTA negotiations, regulations that prioritize workers, and promoting good U.S. manufacturing jobs and discouraging outsourcing!
