On today’s show we had Mark Naymik from the Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com and Mike Walden with the National United Committee to Protect Pensions. During the show, Mark Naymik talked about Ken Johnson, the Buckeye Shaker Square Development Corporation, and airline maintenance workers and passenger safety. Mike Walden talks about the National United Committee to Protect Pensions, which he is a part of, the North East Ohio Committee to protect pensions, and the Butch Lewis Act.

Tammy Wise discussed Freshwater Cleveland their social media following, and six bold ideas that could be used to change Cleveland!

On the broadcast today we had Mark Seavey from the American Legion Magazine and Norm Wernet with the Alliance of Retired Americans. Mark Seavey discussed the American Legion and how it came to be, living in Indianapolis, pensions, and the importance of yoga for veterans and those suffering from PTSD. Norm Wernet discussed his major role in the District 12 race, medicaid expansion, and more!

On today’s broadcast, we had Patrick Gallagher from District 1 United Steelworker, speaking on behalf of the North Coast Labor Federation, and Dr. Adam Gaffney. Mr. Gallagher talks about the steel tariffs and how they are not as bad as people are making them out to be, right to work, and steel contract negotiations. Dr. Gaffney talks about how single-payer healthcare is a bargain, contrary to reports saying that it is “unfeasible”, and how it can actually produce savings. Along with this, the Harley Davidson boycott is discussed.
