Our second guest was Valerie Long, Executive Vice President of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and she talked about connecting the Civil Rights Movement and today’s fight against income inequality!

On the radio program today we had Melissa Cropper, president of the Ohio Federation of Teachers, and she talked about Obama’s plan to extend Pre-school opportunities to every child and gun control to make schools safer. Our second guest was Deb Kline, Director of Cleveland Jobs with Justice, and she talked about Labor and the New Deal art exhibit! Our third guest was Pat Gallagher with the United Steel Workers and the North Coast Labor Federation, and he talked about several issues including the death of a local worker over the weekend, Sequestration, the campaign against “Right to Work”, and Tires manufactured in China but being put on American cars!
